Fares for freight transports
Waxholmsbolaget combines all passenger and freight traffic on the ships that are equipped with a crane and cold storage.
During high season when the amount of freight increases freight transports in the southern and middle archipelago are being served by three private shipping companies on assignment by Waxholmsbolaget. The three freight ships Olliver, Queen and Lote start out from Stavsnäs winter harbour. The freight ship Renskär start out from Söderby dock.

General regulations
All freight (including packaged freight) should be marked clear with address and both sender and receivers names. Unloading dock and carriers shipping note should also be included.
Loading, unloading and transport of
* live animals is on the owners risk
* All responsibilty for freight will cease when freight has been unloaded on dock.
* Freight fees will be assessed after the freights gross weight and volume.
* Special fees will apply to certain freight.
* Passengers on ordinary routes have a right to bring hand luggage free of charge up to a gross weight of 30 kg per person.
* Unpacked glass (windows etc.) will not be brought.
* Everyday commodities from Archipelago stores on islands without a fixed connection or state-owned ferry service, will be transported free of charge to other islands.
* A rolled cage can weigh a maximum of 250 kg.
* Maximum weight that the crane will handle= 800 kg.
Claim for compensation for damage or loss should be left in writing to the practiser of traffic in charge of transport within 3 days from when transport occured or should have occured. Regarding responsibility of freight conditions according to way-bill.
* Freight should be handed over at least 30 minutes prior to the ships take-off from Stockholm.
* Freight is only to be brought in exceptional cases Friday noon until Sunday.
* Co-ordinated traffic freight is the term for the freight that is transported with freight truck to and from ship.
* Freight should be succeeded by shipping note with information about number of pieces, weight and destination dock. Freight that is being transported with ship on freight truck should be attended to in the same way as other freight.
Terms for freight convey
1. Freight should be left straight to ship by dock and be distrubuted at dock at ships arrival. The carriers responsibility for freight sets in when the loading starts and cease when after landings end. Carrier is thus not responsible for freight that has been docked and is awaiting for conveyance.
2. If freight is not taken care of when unloaded, it shall be docked by the carrier on the productowners own risk and without obligation for the carrier to arrange guarding of it.
3. The carrier does not answer for the information in the shipping note regarding weight, measurement, value or quality, nor for lacking of or wrongful labeling or addressing data.
4. The carrier does not answer for any damage or loss emerged by any faults or neglect in which the captain, any of the ships crew, anybody that has worked in the ships service has rendered to in navigation or handling the ship. Nor does the carrier answer for any damage or loss due to fire, which has not been caused by fault or neglect by the carrier. The carrier does not answer for any delayed damage or indirect damage.
4. The carrier is not responsible for any injury or loss to live animals or any deckcargo, even though the injury or loss is caused by anybody which the carrier is responsible for. In extent of access to protected spaced the carrier owns the right to there for place indicated cargo as deckcargo.
6. The carriers responsibility is in every condition limited in compliance with applicable maritime law. See the maritime law 13 Chapter 30 §, and § 121 to 13 Chapter 38 §.
7. If ice or anything else is keeping the ship to attain the destination the cargo will be unloaded at the cargoowners own risk and expense at another place by full payment of freight.
8. Remaining is applicated to what has been established in the Maritime law.
Complaint
Complaints should be made within three days. See the maritime law § 121.
