Ornö – home harbour for fishermen and summer visitors

Ornö is one of the archipelago’s largest islands and we call at several jetties. We suggest you disembark at Ornö Kyrka, which is really the heart of the island.

Here you can visit a restaurant with a lovely view of the bay, Kyrkviken. Further up the hill is Ornö Museum, which changes its exhibits every summer. You can rent a kayak at the tourist office or a bicycle outside the museum and go on a discovery journey along the narrow roads of the island.

To the south is the local Vargvik grocery store and the unique landscape surrounding Sundby Manor. To the north lies Hässelmara farm with home-grown vegetables and a pleasant farm café. There are also some interesting Bronze Age burial grounds to explore. From Hässeslmara you can catch the ferry to Dalarö.
